About the Meeting

The D’Watt International Contemporary Dance Jamboree was first organised in May 2009 at Gödör Klub, Erzsébet square. The intention of the organisers was to establish a tradition by creating a platform where active artists of various contemporary art forms have the chance to share and to build new contacts via exchanging views and sharing experience. Our aim is to bring the programme to a wider audience with a passion for contemporary art.

In the past years the Jamboree hosted for 2-3 days artists of contemporary dance and circus from Hungary and abroad.

Our aim is to facilitate artistic interaction during the Jamboree, which has the potential to inspire new and valuable artwork.
